Supply Chain Executive - UAE National

Scope:

The key responsibilities is to assist Group Supply Chain Manager in day to day activities for developing, designing, planning and implementing supply chain strategies involving vendor management, group insurance, fleet management, supply and demand optimization, and process re-engineering directed towards improving operating efficiencies and driving down the companies costs.

Responsibilities:

• Support vendor management activities including vendor onboarding, basic evaluation, and due diligence.
• Assist in reviewing SharePoint requests related to vendor management and insurance, and escalate any issues as needed.
• Help collect and analyze data from various entities (e.g., fleet, rentals, insurance, telecommunications, travel) to identify opportunities for procurement consolidation across categories like pantry supplies, printing, uniforms, and disposables.
• Support end-to-end sourcing projects: help prepare RFXs and Tenders, assist in reverse auctions using Ariba or offline methods, and follow up with vendors for timely submissions. Help entities with necessary documentation and approvals.
• Participate in supplier negotiations under guidance and help track cost savings. Assist in monitoring contract terms and lead times.
• Help monitor supplier performance to ensure they meet expectations and contract requirements. Report any deviations to the relevant team.
• Coordinate with internal teams and buyers for asset disposal. Support in collecting bids and identifying the highest offer.
• Assist the Group Supply Chain Manager with data collection and research to support strategic fleet planning and cost optimization.
• Support the rollout of Group Procurement policies and SOPs. Assist in maintaining and updating process documents.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and help generate standard reports (e.g., savings analysis, spend breakdown, payment reports).
• Build good working relationships with internal teams and vendors by providing timely support and communication.
• Coordinate with Legal and vendors for basic contract review processes and support in finalizing agreements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering Business, or related field (certifications in procurement/SAP Ariba are a plus).

• 0–2 years in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain (internships or project work welcome).

• Familiarity with SAP Ariba, Coupa, MS Excel, SharePoint; basic understanding of procurement processes and reporting.

• Strong communication, attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to coordinate across teams.
