Job Description
We are looking for a talented mid-level UI/UX Designer to join our team in Chennai, India. This role blends creative problem-solving with hands-on execution, requiring both UI/UX and graphic design expertise. You will be responsible for crafting user flows, journeys, and fully designed digital assets that are visually compelling and aligned with brand identity. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in fundamental graphic design principles, Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
UI/UX Design:
o Map detailed website structures and sitemaps
o Create intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces, flows, wireframes, and prototypes
o Design seamless journeys that optimise engagement and usability across all devices
o Conduct research on user behaviour and pain points
• Graphic Design:
o Curate mood boards and illustrate overall design concepts
o Apply creative thinking to design appealing storytelling visuals such banners, icons, animations, illustrations, interactive elements, and other components
o Ensure consistency in visual language by adhering to brand guidelines
o Design static and animated banners, thumbnails, and promotional visuals
• Web Design Execution:
o Work closely with copywriters and the marketing & brand team to align design outputs with broader business goals
o Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are effectively implemented in code
o Prepare the design assets optimised for performance, including responsive graphics and layouts
o Project manage the design aspects of each website project efficiently
o Prepare relevant placeholder copy to compliment the prototype (preferred)
• Quality Assurance:
o Help conduct user acceptance tests to refine design directions
o Review designs post-implementation based on feedback and analytic
Skills
• Required
o Diploma in design, digital experience, human behaviour or related field
o 3+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design
o High proficiency in Figma – ability to develop animations, interactivity and dynamic layout
o Proficiency in other design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
o Strong knowledge of responsive design principles
o Familiarity with front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JS) for better collaboration with developers
o A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects, including completed web designs
• Preferred
o Degree in design, digital experience, human behaviour or related field
o Proficiency in using wire framing and information structure design tools
o Understanding of SEO and accessibility standards
